Supporters

A huge thanks to all of our supporters for their continued support, without which we could not rescue and return to the wild Zambia’s indigenous primates. Specifically we would like to acknowledge and thank our long-term international supporters:

1.  The Born Free Foundation, which has provided on-going critical funding for our rescues, rehabilitation and release programmes since ZPP’s inception in 2009, along with the Primate Pre-Release Facility and our educational outreach programme.

2. Olsen Animal Trust which has provided funding for our rescue and release work since 2016 and is also a major funder of the Primate Pre-Release Facility.

3. Humane Society International Australia which joined the ZPP family in 2010.

We would also like to thank the High Five Club for the funding they have provided to uplift the community that lives alongside our project in Chunga.

Local supporters and partners in Zambia include Chipembele Wildlife Education Trust, Mukambi Safari Lodge and Chimfunshi Wildlife Orphanage.

We wish to pay special tribute to the Department of National Parks and Wildlife (DNPW) in Chilanga, Kalalushi, Mumbwa, Munda Wanga and at Chunga Command. DNPW is an integral and critical part of our team and we greatly appreciate the active on-going support and encouragement from so many of their staff.
